Discover the Routes

The Cinecittà visitor experience provides access to the Dream Factory and the great history of Italian and international cinema.

MUSEUM VISIT

The museum area includes the exhibitions: Cinecittà Shows Off, Felliniana – Ferretti dreams Fellini, Shooting in Cinecittà and Backstage – A didactic route to, MIAC – Italian museum of moving images; and the gardens.

Set elements and sculptures demonstrating the essential work of set design and set dressing that characterises Italian cinema are dotted around the gardens of Cinecittà, including the Rocking Horse and the Fairy’s Carriage from Roberto Benigni’s Pinocchio (2002), the head of Venusia from Fellini’s Casanova (1976), the permanent set from the popular TV series Un medico in famiglia and a landscape setting.

The visit is self-guided and visitors may decide how to allot their time between watching the films, reading the information, admiring the photographs, interacting with the multimedia content and observing the sets and film sculptures in the gardens.

Individual visitors do not require booking for self-guided museum visits.  Tickets can be bought online at www.ticketone.it or at the ticket office in Via Tuscolana 1055.
The working production area of Cinecittà, with soundstages and sets, is not visitable.
