The Educational Department of Cinecittà Shows Off has a full range of guided tours available in Summer 2023 to explore the history of Cinecittà through the exhibition displays of Cinecittà Shows Off and MIAC – Italian Museum of Moving Images.
From 15 July to 3 September, on Saturdays and Sunday at 11.30 a.m., guided tours in Italian and English will offer access to the following displays on a single ticket: Felliniana. Ferretti dreams Fellini, Shooting in Cinecittà, Backstage – An educational route through Cinecittà and the interactive rooms in MIAC.
Fascinating, scenic installations, original costumes from famous films and series including Cleopatra, Marie Antoinette, For Love and Gold, and props from the sets of blockbuster movies offer visitors the enchantment of cinema and the silver screen.

A guided tour of the set of Un medico in famiglia and the exhibition routes of Cinecittà Shows Off – Felliniana. Ferretti dreams Fellini, Shooting in Cinecittà and Backstage – An educational route through Cinecittà – that winds through scenic sets, original costumes and props from famous films to provide visitors with a journey into the history of Cinecittà, meeting its protagonists and experiencing the magic of cinema. A tour that offers a wealth of anecdotes and interesting information as it leads visitors in the discovery of the key figures on a film, demonstrating the unseen activities involved in making a film and the secrets of cinematic fiction.
Introducing MIAC – Italian Museum of Moving Images
Guided tour of MIAC
A guided tour that plunges the visitor into the history of the audiovisual and cinema industry as it unfolds across interactive exhibits and sound and light installations that offer the opportunity to enter into collective imagination and recognise images, faces, voices and sounds from Italy’s cinematic, television and radio heritage. Exhibits, taken from a range of archives, provide inspiration for reflection, to reinterpret the past and bolster a personal and collective memory with an eye to the future.
